Yes, alot of those people behind bars messed up they are only human babe. But God will tell you in Deuteronomy 28-30 that for those who are disobedient they will be cursed but by submitting themselves to him and his word through obedience that blessings should come upon thee and overtake thee. So while you wont give them a second chance the good thing for you and them is that God is a good God. He says upon returning to him "the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity and have compassion upon thee." You can feel how you want to feel I'm not the person who will be judging you. Believe it or not its alot of good people confined for bad choices and I know its some who while being confined are as cold as you but for those who hearts are warm and are trusting in God they will be saved wether its through this law or another law, it really does not matter. Jesus died for a reason and it was because of our sins our imperfections.
