My mother, Doris M Gibson, was a proud member of the Cadet Nurse Corps. She trained/served in New Castle, PA, Chicago and Long Island. We have seen the picture of her in her uniform for over 60 years. It is proper and fitting that these (once) young ladies, who served with out hesitation, be granted the status they earned = as veterans.
