As a DPT student I will acquire student loans equivalent to other professional healthcare providers who are members of the National Healthcare Service Corp. Currently there is a need for more individuals to enter the field and by providing an affordable education in exchange for public service the field will be more attractive. It would be an injustice to Physical Therapist who provided excellent preventive/rehabilitation treatment for HR988 not to pass. I ask for all members of congress to take a close look at Physical Therapy and find it worthy of government loan assistance. Please contact your Congressman/women!
