this bill is nothing more than attempt to show that we can increase the national debt another trillion dollars in a very short time. Nothing in this bill stimulates the economy. It throws more money at already failing entities and detracts from the more important issues as how to keep people from losing their homes, how to prevent more jobs from being lost.
Sure there are provisions to help those homeless, however increasing the amount of people losing their places to live is not sufficiently replaced by more funding for dormatories for those kicked out on the street because of a Congress that refuses to address the core issue of the financial crisis, bad termed loans going into default and the terms for the loans not being modifiable currently. Address the problem without tax dollars. The job of Congress is to make laws that take away the American dream. Owning a home is an American dream, therefore Congress is on a spending spree without funds to pay for it.
