Thank you for showing me the truth about horse slaughter by leading me to the records obtained from our own Gov. I had not seen them before today and spent several hours pouring over them.
I've been watching this legislation for years and never took a stance until today.
As I see it a request was asked by FOIA about violations to the "Commercial Transport of Equines to Slaughter Act" and that request was full-filled by the USDA. I don't know how any can spin pictures of horses with their legs ripped off. I looked at the pictures and could hardly get through them. These events happened because of the horse slaughter industry, I don't think anyone can refute that.
