Equality, as designed by the founders of the United States of America was based on equal opportunity & equal access. The fairtax returns our nation to equity among inhabitants. If you are a visitor to the land of the free and the home of the brave, or if you are a natural born citizen you are given the same opportunity to enjoy the blessings of Liberty. The fairtax allows all inhabitants to work to provide for themselves and their family members unencumbered by taxation. Then as inhabitants of USA make choices how to spend those dollars earned all are taxed based on purchase choices. Genuine Legal Citizens of the USA are given a break on the necessities of life up to the Poverty Level in the form of a prebate. Visitors and non-citizens do not receive the prebate, yet they are free to live, work, buy property, raise a family, go to school, innovate in the USA. The only difference is that they will not be given a break on the basic necessities of life. Citizenship has its privileges.
