Go back and read my post, and you will see why there has been several name changes in our name. We have Saponi, Nansemond, Pamunkey, and Tuscarora blood lines that lead back to at least two reservations documented and proven through genealogy. We are a federation of several Native American tribes. It is simple. We adopted a name, as many tribes do and have done, to include all bands. We, the Lumbee, are made up of these tribes like it or not. If you can’t understand that then maybe you shouldn’t be posting remarks about topics that take a certain level of intellect to understand. It is easy for you to say whatever you want behind the security of a computer screen.
