LO, The law affords the police officer the right to carry into other states but their agency can still restrict their officers from carrying their service issued weapon into other states. For example, if the officer travels into another state and has to use his service weapon he cannot be prosecuted if the shoot is determined to be good but then the officer can be fired because they had a restriction on carrying their service issued weapon into other jurisdictions.
