This bill finally addresses the inequity between the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the VA Vocational Rehabilitation Program for disabled veterans injured in Iraq/Afghanistan; who have been unjustly underpaid a living stipend. Where I live, could recieve $1300 per month under the New GI Bill, but under Vocational Rehab, I only receive $675. The Vocational Rehab program is much harder to get into with disability percentages and red tape. Those who are injured deserve the same amount of living stipend as those who are not.
