I hope this bill can pass and preserve a very worthwhile program for the remainder of this year and into the future. This program grants the opportunity for legitimate homeownership and is not a "give me" entitlement program. However, the proposed 3.5% upfront and .5% ongoing annual guarantee fees are truly excessive and might just kill the program the bill is trying to preserve.
