The House and Senate return to Washington this week.
The Senate is expected to debate S. 1813, the MAP-21. (“MAP-21″ stands for for the “Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act.”)
The bill would extend surface transportation programs administered by the Federal Highway Administration for two years, and it would authorize spending for other transportation programs.
Passage of S. 1813 would cost the average U.S. family about $125.
