This week, the House will debate H.R. 3630, The Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011.

This bill is the Republican bill to extend the payroll-tax holiday and unemployment insurance. H.R. 3630 would save about $1,500 per U.S. family, while increasing the national debt (of $150,000 per family) by about $440 per family.

The House will also consider H.R. 2055, the military construction and veterans affairs spending bill, and H.R. 1540, the National Defense Authorization Act.
