As its name suggests, H.R. 2017, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2012, funds the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
After extensive debate last week, the House passed the bill, sending it to the Senate.
Passage of H.R. 2017 would spend about $300 per U.S. family.
H.R. 2055 is the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012. The bill funds military construction in the Department of Defense and also the Department of Veterans Affairs and related agencies such as the American Battle Monuments Commission, the Armed Forces Retirement Home, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
The House began debating the bill last week.
Passage of H.R. 2055 would spend about $980 per U.S. family.
The Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012, is H.R. 2112.
The bill funds the Department of Agriculture (except for the Forest Service), the Farm Credit Administration, the Farm Credit System Financial Assistance Corporation, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the Food and Drug Administration.
The bill has been sent to the full House of Representatives from the Appropriations Committee, but it has yet to see debate.
