Last week, the House returned briefly from its summer recess to pass H.R. 1586. The Senate had passed it the week before, under the strange name, the “______Act of____.” President Obama signed the bill into law, making it the law with no name.
Among other things, the bill spends money on an “Education Jobs Fund” and on Medicaid funding for states. Passage of H.R. 1586 costs the average U.S. family about $125.
