S. 1828 would temporarily suspend the duty on certain metal key chains with acrylic mini-globes.

S. 1829 would temporarily suspend the duty on certain acrylic snow globes (as distinct from glass ones).

And—maybe this would bring your family some holiday cheer—S. 1827 would temporarily suspend the duty on certain glass polyresin magnets!

WHAT IN HELL DOES THE GLASS SNOW GLOBES HAVE TO DO WITH EVERYONES MORTAGE PAYMENTS, UTILITY BILLS, GROCERIES, INSURANCE OR DOCTOR/ OTHER MEDICAL BILLS.
A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY (MY AND YOUR MONEY) IS BEING SPENT ON ITEMS LIKE THAT….DO AWAY WITH ALL THE SNOW GLOBES AND MAKE THEM ILLEGEL. THEN THE DUTY WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. I CAN DO WITHOUT THEM AND I’M SURE THAT WOULDN’T AFFECT GETTING YOUR KID TO THE DOCTOR OR MAKING THE DIFFERENCE IF HE/SHE HAD A PORK CHOP TONIGHT OR IF HE/SHE HAD ANY MEAT AT ALL.
