The transport methods alone are brutally inhumane but the method of $laughter, particularly in Mexico, is even more barbaric & gruesome. In Mexico, the horses are killed by a method called "pithing", which is severing the spinal cords, and "scrambling the brains" of the animals, rendering them immobile and causing them to bleed to death, while skinned & butchered fully conscience!
