This is pretty cut and dry and the numbers only increase in our favor as the public learns more and more about what is happening. Let's not forget about the baby foals of PMU and Nurse Mares they are also getting killed for their skins called pony hides. All of this needs to be ended.

Thousands of American horses, including many of our wild mustangs, our National Heritages, are being trucked across our U.S. borders into Canada and Mexico where they suffer even worse fates than they did on American soil. The transport methods alone are brutally inhumane but the method of $laughter, particularly in Mexico, is even more barbaric & gruesome. In Mexico, the horses are killed by a method called "pithing", which is severing the spinal cords, and "scrambling the brains" of the animals, rendering them immobile and causing them to bleed to death, while skinned & butchered fully conscience! See below in the link, an under-cover video of a Mexican horse slaughter house bought to you by the USHS: Warning, this video is VERY graphic and may be disturbing, but happens EVERYDAY: It is happening AS WE SPEAK: I am making this link in RED for the BLOOD of the horses spilled in these Mexican "Houses of Horror":

http://video.hsus.org

or google "horse slaughter" to see lots more

Slaughter is cruel no mater how done, captive bolt gun or stabbing, (a bullet in the head is better!) and Americans DO NOT eat horses, or our cats & dogs, ON MORAL grounds, therefore we should not be the WORLDS LARGEST SUPPLER of horses for slaughter...but WE ARE! STOP THE SLAUGHTER NOW!

It does not look like a deeply divided issue to me with 75% against horse slaughter and 89% eager to expose animal cruelty. Aren't you a bit confused? I think divided is when you are in the 50% range. This looks cut and dry to me.
