To my pleasant surprise, an earlier post on the Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite Act brought a lot of response across the blogosphere. You can see some trackbacks on the post. And along with skepticism about the bill, several commenters spoke up to defend it. Who would have know that it would be about bed bugs, but we have ourselves a good debate.

For fun and mental exercise, I took the comments up to a point today and organized them into the main points for and against the bill. Take a look at the wiki article about the bill (by clicking “read more”), which now has those public comments somewhat organized into arguments for and against the bill.
