There are many examples of parks improving the quality of life for urban centers. There is no doubt this project is needed, and it would benefit the residents of Hollywood and Los Angeles.

This is no "bridge to nowhere." This is a project whose benefit will far exceed its locale. Great project. I totally support it.

Don't kids that live in Hollywood deserve adequate park facilities that they can bike/walk to? Right now they don't have that, but this project would help alleviate that desperately needed recreational infrastructure. Get kids out biking/walking in their neighborhood and what a community thrive. Let's see that in Hollywood.

Correction: that would be: "...and *watch* a community thrive." Apologies.

The community is in need of this park and many more parks! This is vital to the health of the residence and the health of the community as a whole.

This will profoundly and positively benefit the Hollywood / Western communities when built. The benefits to the environment, to citizens' health, and to the regional economy go far beyond the park boundaries, far beyond Hollywood's boundaries. Let's get this accomplished - the sooner we do this, the more rewards we will gain.
