Summary

This reconnaissance study will evaluate problems, needs, and opportunities in the interest of beneficial use of dredged material including transfer and transport facilities for the drying, rehandling, and transferring of dredged material, as it relates to comprehensive watershed and regional sediment management, ecosystem restoration, navigation, stream restoration, water quality, restoration of coal and other mined areas, cover material for sanitary landfills and other allied purposes in the vicinity of the Delaware River.
