Summary

Conditions at Sandbridge have materially changed since the beach replenishment project was formulated and authorized in WRDA 1992, and the total property being protected was valued at just under $200 million then. Today, the value of the protected property is in excess of $1 billion. This funding would allow a "feasibility study" in order to support beach replenishment and storm protection projects in the future.
