I have been working to get this for a while now. Louie Gohmert from Texas tried to get the last one through. I hope this one works.

I hope we can get this past this time. We as correctional workes would really appreciate this.

How many other federal law enforcement officers are disarmed by their own agencies' policies?
It's long past time for the BOP to trust their own employees, and negotiate for secure storage of personal firearms.

This sends a clear message to the Agency that this issue will not just simply go away. The crazy thing about this matter is that the BOP allows gun lockers at the Federal Detention Center in Puerto Rico.
SVigus
I hope this goes through

Too bad this wasn't included in LEOSA to start with.

Write your House Rep. and Senators, in attempts to get their support of this bill. Tell your co-workers, family and friends to do the same. Nearly every officer at my institution has already done so. This bill is long over due, so do what you can.

Our Senators and Congressmen talk tough--then hide when it comes vote time.
