I hope this gets passed. Veterans rated 100% by the VA who can not work should be awarded SSDI without having to wait 2-3 years for the decision. This is a good bill. Thank You Veterans for your support and Thanks to Rep. John Sarbanes for thinking of them!

TERRY

MY FIRST WIFE WAS RATED 100% BY BOTH THE ARMY AND THE VA FOR LUEKEMIA CAUSED BY AGENT ORANGE CONTACT AS AN ER NURSE IN VIETNAM .SOCIAL SECURITY SAID NO DISABILITY UNTIL SEE HAD A BLAST CRISIS THEN AFTER ONE YEAR SHE WOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR A 100 RATING OF COURSE THE BLAST CRISIS MARKED THE BEGINING OF THE END AND SHE WAS DEAD IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS.THIS BILL WOULD PREVENT SUCH INJUSTICE AND THE 4 YEARS SHE LIVED BEFORE THE CRISIS IN HER WEAKENED CONDITION COULD HAVE BEEN WITH A FEW EXTRA THINGS THE SOCIAL SECURITY MONEY COULD HAVE PROVIDED.
