This is clearly an answer to a question that nobody asked. These guns in question are not used by terrorists, not involved in crime but are owned by long range target shooters, collectors, etc. Please show me ANY crime in the US that was commited with one of these guns? It has not happened. Lots of hot air from politicians who thump their chests and claim to protect us. Bull.

I concur with Robert S's statement. I believe that a small group of gun owners are being targeted for political attack by members of the anti-second amendment movement. Not only are these guns not used in crimes, it is very impractical for them to be used in crimes. The passing of this bill will be a sad day for the USA.

Another misguided fool on a quest for notoriety instead of substance.

Unfortunately the gun nuts out there continue to spew NRA propaganda that no crime is ever committed by a law abiding citizen... BS! Regardless, access to these weapons of destruction give those inclined an avenue to take out airliners or other high valued targets quickly and without much risk of detection until the deed is accomplished. Second amendment rights were not intended to protect terrorists.
