I have been out of the Naval reserves sense Feb 1993 after 24 years. I turn 60 in 2008. So I had to wait 15 years to receive retirement pay. PASS THE BILL, THIS WOULD BE A GOOD RETENTION TOOL. COMMENTS FROM THOSE GUARDSMEN AND RESERVIST NOW BEING ACTIVITED IS "WHEN I GET BACK I WILL NOT REINLIST."

PASS THIS BILL. I am coming up on 20 yrs of service both active and reserve. we are losing so much experience (soldiers with 12 years plus)experience we are needing over there. By the end of next year i will have spent close to three out of the past 5 years away from my home and job. incentives up front are fine but these soldiers do the minimum and get out. give the slodiers who have committed their lives to the military something in return. Please pass this bill

I agree with Thomas & Michael and can't really add any more but our elected officals need to get off of their Dead Duffel bags and get this bill S 1243 & HR 690 passed.
