H.R. 1367, The Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act of 2007 (1 comment ↓)

H.R. 1367 would amend section 712 of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, section 2705 of the Public Health Service Act, and section 9812 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to require equity in the provision of mental health and substance-related disorder benefits under group health plans.

My son who just turned 40 is bipoler and an addict..I have spend over half of what money I have made in the doctor care and mental help I needed to fight his depression..everyday is a fight to stay on the right meds and the right road..this bill will help in the care and is so needed to help make ends meet.
