H.R. 1363, The Child Nutrition Promotion and School Lunch Protection Act of 2007 (3 comments ↓)

H.R. 1363 would amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to improve the nutrition and health of schoolchildren by updating the definition of "food of minimal nutritional value" to conform to current nutrition science and to protect the Federal investment in the national school lunch and breakfast programs.

i really think that this is a great idea and health is important so i support this and it should really be passed. thank you

.We were at the school nutrition show in Philadelphia and surprised at how some of the food made it passed the healthy nutritional standards.

An example would be Steaz Sparkling Greeen Tea, a soda that had vitamin C. It had about the same amount of sugar as a Coke.

It's amazing how the owners of these companies can sleep at night, knowing they are exposing loopholes and generating profits that only hurt the health of future generations.
