Please add my voice to the concern regarding the "white space" issue:

I own and operate a system of fourteen wireless microphone systems in the UA frequency band (780-806 MHz). This reallocation of the broadcast "white space" will force me to spend several thousands of dollars to convert all of my equipment (44 units in all) in order to avoid interference from the new devices that will be occupying this spectrum. As a sole-proprietor and small business, this is an expense I can ill afford: it will take a very long time to recover.

Unless something is done to modify the FCC plan, this spectrum change will have a disastrous effect on all users of wireless microphones. In that event, I urge the Congress to establish a special fund to provide financial assistance to small business operators to help defray the significant costs this will impose. After all, we are being forced into this situation by an act of our government.

Sincerely,
Ronald Streicher
