Please support this bill. It is very important to me. My ex spouse died before he could even get any of his benefits. We were married twice to each other and I had to divorce him both times because of abuse and we never made it to ten years because of his abuse. We had two children. I had 3 children from previous marriage and he had 3 children from previous marriage. The children are all grown. I could not work much due to a large family, so my early retirement benefits were only $198 a month. I got food stamps. I have not been able to work since 2003 because of sickness and SS kept denying my application for disability. I am 65 now and will qualify for SSI, but I would get a lot more on my ex spouses social security. I would be able to live like a normal person. It would truly be a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
