my Great great grandmother was cherokee(eastern cherokee) i have a copy of the letter she wrote naming her father and grand father,she and several members of her family was on the 1909 guillion miller role she passed away in 1925 the surname does not appear on the 1924 baker roll as she was not living on the reservation .I would like to be reconized as cherokee as it is part of my heritage Ihope the lumbee tribe will be reconized as a federal tribe also the eastern band of cherokees .thank you trudie137@yahoo.com
