The Congressional budget resolution for fiscal year 2006 (H. Con. That process is known as reconciliation and its results are embodied in S. 1932.

I think it's just obscene that this attempt to have budget discipline just means more costs heaped on AMerican taxpayers. WHen are the Congress going to realize they need to spend less! Not collect more!

Dumping additional financial burdens on our nation's senior citizens who need long term healthcare is OBSCENE ... Especially when you look at how congress keeps the best healthcare insurance for themselves FOR FREE, and last year voted to make healthcare provided to illegal aliens from hospitals billable back to the federal government, if the alien is unable to pay for it.
I guess it pays to either be an elected representative, or to be here illegally, rather than to be a person who was born in the U.S.A., and unfortunately grew old here.

hmm, let's see ....
It's ok to spend billons upon billions of dollars in Iraq and
projected trillions of dollars sending men to Mars and ok to short change our neediest citizens.

Unbelievable that the Congress can't control itself form spending more and more and more.
