June 2, 2012, 9:27pm (report abuse)I am in full support of this bill. I am a child who grew up with domestic violence in my home. I wish my mom would have had access to places like Harbor House which help battered women get on their feet and away from the abuser. I think if she had the resources they do now, some things may have been completely different. I am glad there is funding available to causes such as this one. I also think that we need to encourage no violence to anyone instead of just women, because I know that men can be abused as well.
