I want to see the Seniors get a little bonus but now is not the time. We are already prining money, don't add to the problem.

Low inflation does not mean no inflatio!! So let them use the actual inflation numbers.

Are all components included in the inflation number/ or are food and transportation costs (oil?OBQ57) excluded

I am a senior citizen and my wife and I live on our SS income. However, we do not want any additional government spending at this time. 250.00 will not make or brake us, and our vote and support cannot be bought for that amount. At this time WE NEED TO STOP ALL GOVERNMENT SPENDING. As a family we must tighten our belts and not spend what we don't have. So must our government.

Unfortunately. the COL index basket does not reflect costs for senior citizens. Widows on SS pensions have been especially adversely affected by the lack of COL adjustments. Seeing all those young people --- many of whom receive unemployment benefits -- joining far-left mobs in NYC, makes me a strong supporter of COLAs for seniors.

my main concern is solidifying the social security benefits trust fund first. the cola is another part of the social security benefits/trust. i need to know if the first issue is in place before we go into the next. i vote for against at this time.

COLA adjustments do not take into account the neccessities of life like food and fuel.

That is by design, it saves the government billions.

I do not want $250.00. I want entitlement reform! I want Tax Reform! Enough talk, I am voting for the guy pitching reform!

I live on a fix income and the cost of living for the past two years has not been given to to the ones that live on s. s.s cut the cost of spending in the white house down to 25%on there personal spending and there would be money for us.they line there pockets and care not for the ones that live on one check a month. I would LOVE TO TRADE WITH ON FOR THER PAY FOR THREE MONTHS AND USE THERE CREDIT CARDS TO BUY WHAT I WANT AND THEY CAN PAY FOR THEM.them they would know what it is like to LIVE ON ONE PAY CKECK A MONTH. they would be broke in one DAY.

Perhaps you should look at what is actually used to calculate the COLA.

Of course, if you had done that first you wouldn't have opened your mouth and shown your @ss.

Just more welfare.
