Cut, Cap and Balance

When the Senate version of the bill was first introduced, we made a little fun: “It also juliennes carrots,” we said of the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011. (Yuk yuk.) But the bill (House version: H.R. 2560) takes center stage this coming...

Raise the ceiling. Don't shut the federal government down again. Many people are dependent on their retirement benefits to buy groceries and pay for their medications. I for one, like many other surviving spouses of disabled veterans, never had a chance to build up a retirement fund because we had to take care of our disabled husbands, and when our husbands died, our income was cut in half. Now we are too old to do productive jobs. It took many years to bury our country in debt. It should take an equal amount of time to balance the budget. Also the population in our country has increased drastically, because you let every Tom Dick and Harry in to the united states and shove all of our hard working tax payers money up the butt of foreigners. I think that the United States Supreme Court would have the authority to Pass A federal law that withholds the pay of ALL our congressmen and women too, when there is a government down. I'm sure as hell going to check on that.

H.R. 2560, the “Cut, Cap and Balance Act of 2011 is just evil. As far as I'm concerned, it's coming from a group of godless individuals who have no soul or empathy for people in this country. SHAME on those who present this bill and try to move forward with it.

This Bill is just a first step in reigning in the deficit problem for America. Although, it does not go far enough we must pursue any avenue that will move to reduce the deficit. There seems to be little interest by the Democrats in control of their party to address the problem so conservatives must stay the course to pursue any avenue that will work to reduce and ultimately eliminate a deficit. A deficit should only be allowed in situations of dire emergency for America. We must limit the size and span of control of the Government, which represents an inefficient use of hard earned taxpayer dollars.

I am watching the House discussion on this bill and none of the arguments against this bill indicate that the person against the bill has read the bill. One even stated that this bill would decrease Medicare. That one most certainly did not read the bill. Only someone who is totally irresponsible would make statements like those that I am hearing. Maybe the reason they have not read the bill is because they do not know how to read. I guess that is one of the things wrong with electing politicians instead of electing qualified people who know how to read.

I find H.R.2560 very confusing and unclear.
