Rural Law Enforcement Assistance Act of 2009 - Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to authorize appropriations for FY2009-FY2013 for rural drug enforcement assistance.
Amends the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 to authorize appropriations for FY2009-FY2013 for training rural law enforcement officers in the investigation of drug trafficking and related crimes.
