S. 1312, The Medicare Safe Needle Disposal Coverage Act of 2009 (7 comments ↓)
S. 1312 would amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage, as supplies associated with the injection of insulin, of containment, removal, decontamination and disposal of home-generated needles, syringes, and other sharps through a sharps container, decontamination/destruction device, or sharps-by-mail program or similar program under part D of the Medicare program.

This will allow safe disposal of needles. I anticipate it will becomes mandatory for all diabetics, needle users. Looking forward to this.

It is just a bill to allow those of us who need to give ourselves medicine at home, some way to dispose of the needles properly so as not to hurt some unsuspecting other person. Why is the Reverend so nasty?
