Stop spending Money!!

We don't have it to spend!!

One and a half trillion over budget for this year, and that doesn't include any emergencies.

What part of STOP SPENDING don't they understand????

Spend wisely: omit the pork in the amendments, but fund the basic bill. We need to understand that continued American jobs depend on continued developments. Business is too cheep to fund research; most R&D centers either closed or preform day to day technical service. Research generated prosperity.

Cut the money from Defense - just who is a threat??

Research and Development should be left to the people, small business and corporations. No GOVERNMENT dollars needed. WHAT do they not understand about spending. This idea is rediculous. Free tax payer money to do research? Government is bankrupting this country. Get all the congressmen and senators out and new ones in! Stop the nonsence.

VA hospitals do not have to exist--why can't these people have health care in the hospitals we have to make it convienent to go when they need to and the government funds their bills?

Wow BWG, have you been studying under Mao of Karl? A great percentage of the research that has proven so beneficial to our industries was a direct result of Military research.

You should understand that the Russian PAK FA (Sukhoi T-50) is comparable to the F-22 and has additional infra-red seek and track sensors.

We have not had a U. S. military person killed by enemy aircraft since the Korean War, because we held Air Dominance. With Obama's replacement of the F-22 with the F-35, we have given up that dominance. The F-35 would be fair game for the 1960's era F-4E which is both faster and more maneuverable than the F-35.

To reduce Federal expenditures, Start with those which are properly the duty of the States. Return these duties to the States where they belong. Many, if not most belong to the states.

Proper IRA laws could eliminate the Social security retirement plans without causing problems by creating a real retirement plan making Social Security's plan irrelevant.

Joy calls,

The VA Hospital system provides care that is just not available in the ordinary city hospital. In addition to this many of the emergency Rooms in city hospitals consider themselves very lucky when the land a VA trained trauma care specialist.

There are 100000 readymade STEM grads with several years of experience. Try freeing them from the clutches of DOS and USCIS red tape

Joy Calls = You are obviously not a Veteran. Perhaps you should get off of your sofa and join the military, serve a year in a war zone and then you could go to a VA Hospital. I love the people who denigrate veterans or the little they receive for their service from the comfort of their living rooms.

Reading between the lines this appears to be more spending for "renewable" energy. While most think cap and trade is no longer a threat, the EPA and renewable energy standards are going to accomplish the same things.

I think that we should let the bussiness take care of research and development in thier selective neighborhoods, and if we get a slightest hint that they are trying to outsource we, Stop Drop Shut Em Down Open Up Shops that will benifit our people.

It is not the fed govenment's job to fund this research and development. That is the function of Business. In the past there has been little incentive for business to do so since they can simply wait for tax money to come rolling in to fund it. Enough!!
