The fact that this Act is just sitting there with no movement is criminal! The latest action was 1/26/2009 and that was the 'action' of one committee chucking it over to another committee. This is not a game Washington - it is peoples lives! The Government DOES NOT SUBSIDEZE MY COBRA as I lost my job 12/2007. If I wasnt to keep paying $700 a month for my insurance - PLEASE ALLOW ME TO DO SO! My COBRA runs out in 30 days, then no more coverage for me!

Are they going to extend the 35% cobra subsidy? Do it soon. I don't want to hear about how Wall Street has to pay huge bonuses to those jerks that got us into this mess so they can keep talent when people are dying because of healthcare issues. Those same people getting huge bonuses should be jailed for doing criminal acts. Look at our economy??? Try being unemployed and sick... do something, I'd settle for Canada, Britain, or France's health care... it's better than none...
