PLEASE pass this bill. I have spent thousands for my loved one the past couple of years all to her benefit only and cared for her in my home with neccessary home modifications and it put a real hardship on my family. I filed for and became her guardian which cost tens of thousands and nothing was deductible. In fact it cost money because I had to borrow money to help her and none of this was tax deductible. I know of others that also suffered great finacial cost but saved the taxpayers the cost by caring for their loved ones at home.
