I support this bill because I believe that medical malpractice is for the most part unintentional and the end result of a huge settlement may do more harm than good. Because malpractice insurance is outrageous due to the result of claims/suits, it at times prevents great doctors from going into fields where suits are a... higher risk. If this reform is passed it may alleviate the costs of medical malpractice insurance, procedures, and in the end help many more than the money of liability lawsuits would bring.
