September 28, 2009, 1:01pm (report abuse)With the increasing number of people injecting themselves with medication/s at home and throwing them away without care, the public needs to feel that the government and pharmaceutical companies are doing their part to make us safe from this hazardous waste. I feel sorry for the waste management people pickup the garbage from one of the homes that do not care what happens after they take care of themselves. This will also cause issues with recycle workers sticking themselves while sorting this garbage.

September 28, 2009, 10:09pm (report abuse)When it comes to public safety, Government has the obligation to apply standards for the good of all. Needle disposal has, for too long, been put on the back burner -lacking the prioritizing it requires to ensure that the non-suspecting do not become injured and potentially having thier lives permanantly altered adversely. Act responsively and proactively.
