The Homeless Women Veterans and Homeless Veterans with Children Reintegration Grant Act 2009 is greatly needed at this time in history. There are far too many women veterans who are not able to successfully transition from the military service to a normal, productive life. My agency (Steps & Stages: Women Veterans Resource Agency Inc) www.stepsnstages.com in Fayetteville, North Carolina works with countless women veterans and veterans with children who are facing challenges and barriers that prevent them from transitioning back to a productive life experience. This Reintegration Grant Act will provide much needed funding to support employment services and social skills development for women veterans and their children.
