On H.R. 2546, displaying the US Flag on residential property... isn't this why we have Flag Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July... I'm a Veteran of 7.5 years in the Navy and I honestly feel that if you own your property, then you can post a flag pole and fly what you desire within reason. But this idea, of my flag is better (larger) than your flag is too extreme. If you are a property owner, then you need to respect yourself and your neighbors and quietly brag about your career, your family's career, your children's career inside your home or your personal dress.

I love my career: the historical ships I sailed on, the finest fighter squadron in the air and some of the best leaders of men I have ever known..., but I display this glory in my heart and only wear a 'flag' shirt on those special holidays... we should keep it this way.
