H.R. 2244, The Single Parent Protection Act of 2009 (1 comment ↓)
H.R. 2244 would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow an individual who is entitled to receive child support a refundable credit equal to the amount of unpaid child support and to increase the tax liability of the individual required to pay such support by the amount of the unpaid child support.

November 12, 2009, 4:30pm (report abuse)This bill would be helpful to many parents that are not receiving child support. At least they would feel some financial relief if this bill passed, and it would help to enforce payment.
