H.R. 1976, The International Documentary Exchange Act of 2009 (1 comment ↓)
H.R. 1976 would authorize grants for nongovernmental organizations that use independently produced documentary films to promote better understanding of the United States abroad and better understanding of global perspectives and other countries in the United States.

April 8, 2009, 7:04pm (report abuse)This is a five year budget, but should be exclusive to NGOs. Peace Corps should be excluded. They have lots of cash and five year budgets from other programs.
