HR 1585 is long over due. The deteriorating physical condition of the children of this nation threatens us in multiple fashion. We cannot solve the health care crisis until we stop overwhelming the system with unhealthy citizens. We must address the health of the nation starting with it's youngest citizens.

The structure of the military branches of the country are compromised by the inability to find enough fit and healthy young men and women to qualify for admittance to those branches of service. How will the country defend itself in these perilous times?

The passage of HR 1585 is of absolute necessity to get us started in the right direction. It is only a start but it is the first step in the battle to regain the health of the nation.
