July 26, 2009, 11:10pm (report abuse)This Health care Bill is the dumbest item (next to the Cap & Trade Bill) that any President & Congress ion the history of our country has ever come up with. "Don't pass this bill!"

August 2, 2009, 12:26pm (report abuse)Pam & Gerard, obviously you have not read the bill. This bill is free-market reform of our health care system by Ron Paul, who is a DOCTOR!
HR 3200 sponsored by Ted Kennedy is the bill that is 1018 pages long and is the bill which should not be passed.
What goes for our politicians, goes the same for we the people, READ THE BILL!!!!!!

August 15, 2009, 11:47pm (report abuse)As corrupt as all of our Politicians are - you have to be sceptical of anything they push for ESPECIALLY THIS HARD!!! Yet another step towards complete Socialism. First - Social Security, Medicare, Food Stamps, Welfare.

September 1, 2009, 1:30am (report abuse)This is not the bill supporting SOCIALISM.
READ THE BILL!!!
This bill is to allow Health Savings Accounts, so YOU can decide how to spend YOUR health care dollars privately.

September 3, 2009, 3:02am (report abuse)I think that this Ron Paul bill allows a tax deduction on health care costs, bills and allows a reimbursement on unused flex account dollars on the amount of $500 or to rollover the amount to the next year. Great Bill! PASS IT!!!

September 6, 2009, 6:46pm (report abuse)This is a great bill! Now if we can only get another bill to remove more of the government's CURRENT involvement in health care.

September 11, 2009, 4:27pm (report abuse)For crying out loud, folks, READ THE BILL! This is Ron Paul's bill, not Obamacare.
good bill
October 5, 2009, 10:19pm (report abuse)good bill. Simple, direct. The less government involvement we have, the cheaper health care will be.
Tax cuts and deductions are the simplest and most cost effective way to combat this issue.

October 10, 2009, 1:20am (report abuse)This is an amendment therefore; we need to understand the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 before we make a decision. This amendment is only part of the changes being proposed.

October 24, 2009, 2:56pm (report abuse)Simple. Clean. Effective. Pass.

November 1, 2009, 10:32pm (report abuse)Where is the payments to special interests? Where is the increase for executive power? Where are the payoffs to poor voters in exchange for their votes?
There aren't any. This will reduce the cost of healthcare and not burden the next generation. It will never pass or even make it to the floor.

November 6, 2009, 10:01am (report abuse)I called my congressman and told him to support HR1495 But, I suppose he wont.. He is a democrat supporting ObamaCare.. So He won't support a 100% tax credit for health care.. after all that could bankrupt the government and not the people.
Oh yeah, people should actually read this bill before they comment. I should only expect so little aptitude from the public, and that is truly sad. Had they read the bill(it is what two pages?) they would realize how great his plan actually is!

November 21, 2009, 2:27pm (report abuse)Too little... too late, I'm afraid. We could all stand to do some praying... else get your gun cleaned up for the revolution is going to begin before long.

December 20, 2009, 2:15pm (report abuse)People seems to be confusing this bill with the one we're hearing about in the news. This is not that bill. This is Ron Paul's bill on the RIGHT way to reform health care. Please read people. Read. Read. Read. Read.
