July 19, 2009, 6:37pm (report abuse)I work with a non-profit religious organization which serves prisoners. Global Tel Link just blocked our prisoner access phone number set up for us by PrisonCallsOnLine. Families, friends and groups like ours need this bill to protect OUR rights! GTL blocked our number to force us to open an account with them. That's blackmail. GTL's goal is to become a monopoly. Prison's get a commission for using GTL. Isn't that what a KICK-BACK is???
