Its about time this gets repealed. I'm sure it won't have enough support in congress. Most of the country is a bunch of brainwashed zombies who think that the income tax is a just tax in a free country which is the biggest problem.

February 3, 2009, 7:57pm (report abuse)We need some type of tax reform. We keep rolling this big ball of debt down to our future generations. People would pay their taxes if they understand them and if their government would actually think about spending less money. What a thought.

People like you think that the government should be used to make things fair... but they make things anything but fair.
So currently the income tax code is 18,000 pages, do you think that is fair.
This bill should have been passed a long time ago.
We went through the socialist comunist phase in 1916 (around the same time as the russians) The system doesn't work, and it should be repealed. THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY... lest you forget.
P.S. JR. Don't you dare go on your uninformed whinning swan song of "you only want to get rid of this because you have some thing to gain" B.S. Everybody gains from this.
Seriosly if we pass this then you would be able to whine continuously that you don't "feel" that things are fair because the government can't be the great equalizer anymore.
