July 2, 2008, 2:08pm (report abuse)I don't understand objecting to this bill if someone who disagrees with it could post their reasoning I'd be curious. The cost to the taxpayer is minimal but since the DOJ is charging to run the background check the cost could be mostly if not entirely offset. All of this is not to mention the fact that it may assist in keeping known predators away from children.

July 21, 2008, 9:56am (report abuse)I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DEBATE IS ITS MINIMAL COST FOR CHILDRENS PROTECTION ITS A NO BRAINER IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SIGNED AND PASSED RIGHT FROM THE START I HAVE PERSONALLY BEEN WORKING HARD ON THESE HAVE MANY PETITIONS AND WRITTEN MANY LETTERS TO SENATOR BIDEN THE ONLY PEOPLE AGAINST THIS ARE THE PREDATORS
