February 12, 2008, 1:54pm (report abuse)I'm glad this bill won't protect guilty Americans.

February 14, 2008, 3:48pm (report abuse)Right. It would "protect" innocent Americans by allowing people to carry loaded and accessible guns in the National Parks. Please don't protect me that way!

March 3, 2008, 3:07pm (report abuse)Gee, please don't give me that kind of protection!! I would prefer to walk through national parks, etc. knowing that I only have the animals to fear, and not the gun-toting "innocents".

July 24, 2008, 8:37pm (report abuse)This is stupid. There is hardly any 'Violent Crime' in National Parks, probably BECAUSE loaded guns are banned. Bills like this are just pandering to the gun lobby so the sponsor can get more bribes (beg pardon - that should be 'Campaign Contributions).

September 22, 2008, 4:21pm (report abuse)Terrific! With guns banned from parks, the criminals will be the only ones armed. I believe that drugs are illegal in the Parks; however, there are meth labs set up in the Parks run by armed criminals. Personally, I would prefer to be able to exercize the right to protect myself if I had to. In National Parks, you're a long, long way from 911.
